I am a true fan of this talented actor, and have enjoyed his work in so many things, especially the westerns. Character actors don't get enough credit. Mr. Woodward is one of the best, so I'm glad to see this site dedicated to him. From what I've read, he seems like a very intelligent, cultured yet down-to-earth guy with just enough mischief to make him fun. I could go on and on, but my only question is, WHY DON'T THEY MAKE GUYS LIKE THIS ANYMORE? Sigh.

Thanks,

Debra

Admin reply: Why don't they make guys like this anymore? Simple. When Morgan was made the mold was broken.

Thank you Debra, for your kind words and for stopping by our site. Please stop by again to check for updates.

I can tell that this site was lovingly designed by a true fan. I remember Morgan Woodward best from his work on Gunsmoke. Even though he almost always played a rough character, there was a great sense of humanity in his portrayal. And now that I've gotten older, I can really appreciate what an attractive man he is as well. Oh that voice!! Thank you so much for the site.

Admin reply: Thanks for writing, Peggy. We will have more soon, I'm going to be working in the next few days on Part 3 of my interview. We appreciate it so much.

Julie :-)

I first discovered Morgan Woodward on the original Star Trek, which was soon followed by his work in Planet Of The Apes, Logan's Run, Project UFO, Battle Beyond The Stars, Knight Rider, The X-Files, and Millennium.

I also had the chance to view and enjoy his work in such productions as Cool Hand Luke, The Monroes, Firecreek, The Wild Country, Vegas, The Dukes Of Hazzard, and many others. He is definately a remarkable character actor.

Keep up the good work on the site. I definately like the background for the opening intro. It is pretty sharp.

Admin reply: Thanks for stopping by, Christopher. We're glad you like the site and hope to add more features very soon.
